Csaba Kiss Dr. jur. Csaba Kiss is environmental attorney at the Environmental Management and Law Association (EMLA), Budapest (Hungary). His field of work is environmental legal research and litigation. Csaba Kiss is also the Coordinator of the Justice & Environment network of public interest environmental law organizations based in EU member states. Csaba Kiss represents his organization in the leadership body, the Core Team of The Access Initiative, a global civil society coalition to promote Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration.
Csaba Kiss took part in a number of domestic or international Technical Assistance projects, especially in the Western Balkan region. This involved law drafting and assistance in law harmonization. He also worked as a trainer in a number of occasions to diverse audiences, focusing on environmental law, access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental matters. Csaba Kiss as the Coordinator of J&E has managed a number of large projects within J&E, including its annual work plans since 2011, a LIFE funded project (EARL) and two large research projects for the European Commission, in consortium with COWI A/S (eJustice fact sheets, ELD).
